After visiting the Steam Cliff Farms Winery at Commisky, Indiana, we headed straight south and had to ford the Graham’s Creek, it was about a 50 yard wade, we drove it. About 1 mile later we came across this homestead out in the middle of nowhere on this small country road. It just give me a good feeling and I thought to myself, what a nice back road home and escape from the urban hustle. So, I took a photo and later back in my studio it made a great reference for a miniature painting subject with the WPA technique.
